Tamanna Ahmad

I am a Bangladeshi-American psychotherapist trained at Smith College. My primary goal is to help you live a life aligned with your truest self. As a queer woman of color who grew up in predominantly homogeneous spaces, I strongly believe in the importance of not just allowing, but also encouraging and celebrating the full expression of our nuanced and glorious selves. I specialize in working with young adults, professionals, and multicultural couples impacted by trauma and intergenerational wounds.

In our time together, we will navigate relationships, self-worth, and challenging emotions. Through using a psychodynamic and emotionally-focused approach, I will help you work towards resolving issues in your romantic life, evolving family dynamics, and creating a sense of belonging beyond productivity. I look forward to supporting you in paving a grounded, connected, and joyful path in life.
