Tanisha Singh

I am a Columbia University-trained therapist and an Indian-American-Canadian TCK. My lived experience across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia has deeply informed my understanding of the challenges faced by those navigating multicultural identities.

As someone familiar with the balance between Eastern collectivism and Western individualism, I often work with adolescents, adults and couples balancing family expectations with individual autonomy. Our time together prioritizes processing complex feelings and relieving pent-up bodily tension using Emotion-Focused and Somatic techniques. We will work collaboratively to resolve the anxieties, traumas, and childhood wounds that hinder you from reaching your full potential.

I look forward to helping you develop a stronger sense of self, enhance your relationship dynamics, and finally find your own voice amidst life’s external pressures.

*In addition to English, I can speak Hindi.
